The legend says that the city was founded by Yuri Dolgorukiy, Suzdal Knyaz, in 1147. Two centuries later Moscow became the centre of the Great Moscow Principality, and later it grew big and powerful enough to become the centre for the whole country.
Moscow is believed to be in the list of the most beautiful cities in the world, and it's definitely unique with an interesting combination of historic architecture and modern style.
